Hi there. I’m Joni, a Colorado-based food and beverage photographer creating commercial imagery for CPG brands, agencies, and publications. My work embraces bold color, dynamic lighting, and a touch of whimsy—creating images that feel both intentional and effective.

The goal is always to create images that do more than just make people hungry—they’re built to help brands sell, connect with their audience, and stand out in a crowded market. Whether it’s for advertising, packaging, editorial, or brand storytelling, I approach each project with an understanding of how photography supports bigger business goals (and yes, sometimes that still means moving the same garnish twelve times).

I work with full creative teams, including agencies, food stylists, creative directors, producers, and marketing teams, and I’m just as comfortable on a simple, streamlined shoot as I am on a larger production. I also frequently assist with prop styling, set building and creative direction, helping shape visuals that feel cohesive and intentional.

I work both on location and in studio, giving clients flexibility, consistency, and a streamlined production process from start to finish.

Based in Colorado but available for travel, I care a lot about making the creative process smooth, collaborative, and maybe even a little fun—because good work usually happens when people actually enjoy making it.
