Wash Park Studios Wedding
3 hours of couples portraits, The Brown Palace, Union Station, The Oxford and zombies, these are the things photographers dream of when you talk about ideal weddings, at least a photographer like me. Oh I forgot to mention 2 super cool people who rock black framed glasses. Yep, all the fixin’s for one of my favorite days of the year… and I was working.
Jean and Avery threw a very unique, classy and out of the ordinary wedding at Wash Park Studios on October 20th. We met up a few hours prior to knock out some super cool portraits, focusing mainly on The Brown Palace because it’s one of their favorite Denver places and of course we had to stop and get a photo with the zombies at the zombie crawl, pretty damn cool. Their ceremony was short, sweet and nearly had the whole room in tears. Their reception didn’t include the typically dance till you drop routine. Instead they opted for a lovely dinner followed with music, visiting with good company and a slideshow that did have everyone in tears.
I loved getting to know these two through the process of being their photographer. We met up a few time for drinks prior and I instantly felt comfortable with them and was excited about the photos they were looking to create. They are both kind, warm and creative in their vision for their wedding day. They are the exact kind of people that make me love what I do. Congrats Jean and Avery, I loved, loved, loved your wedding. Let’s hang soon!
