Boulder Engagement Photos

Brian and Trude hike the red rocks in Boulder Co, every morning, snow, rain or shine, they hike, EVERY morning. Brian even proposed there. So when they were ready to take their engagement photos there was only one place they wanted to shoot, the red rocks in Boulder. They decided at the last minute that they really wanted to use some photos for their guest book at their wedding, so we shot the week prior to their wedding, and thanks to the unpredictable weather in Colorado, we had to reschedule the shoot twice. These photos were shot 2 days before their wedding! We became fast friends within those 3 days.

I met Brian and Trude in a unique way, he’s my landlord. Favorite landlord ever now, which unfortunately isn’t saying much, I have had some pretty unpleasant landlords. But from the first day my husband Cole and I met Brian, we just couldn’t stop saying how cool he was whenever we talked about our new place in Denver. He’s the kind of guy we’d hang out with, and hopefully will hang out with in the future. So when he got engaged to Trude and invited me over to talk wedding photography, I was thrilled. Once I met Trude, I totally got it, they make sense. She’s just as cool as he is. They are both unbelievably warm, fun and outgoing. They are the kind of people you feel comfortable with immediately. We had a great time on their shoot, and together, created some pretty stellar shots of them in their favorite place.

Stay tuned for their wedding shots, they’ll be up on the blog sometime soon. Thanks Brian and Trude for choosing me to be a part of your wedding and your engagement photos at your favorite place in Boulder! Loved every minute of it!
